Evaluation of a high-throughput NGS SLIMamp CFTR Assay

The annual Advances in Genome Biology and Technology – Precision Health 2018¬†meeting was held in La Jolla California on Sept 6 – 8, 2018. Pillar Biosciences presented a poster called ‘Evaluation of a high-throughput NGS SLIMamp CFTR assay’, authored by scientist Dr. Melanie Prasol and Pillar Biosciences CSO Dr. Zhaohui Wang.

The poster presents data from a total of 100 mutation-positive samples with 69 different CFTR variants, of which 53 were commercially available cell lines and the remainder were positive samples from individuals. The SLIMamp amplicons were designed to cover the entire coding region with splice sites, selected deep intronic regions, and selected structural variants.
